The Yamazaki Peated Malt Spanish Oak - The Kogei Collection

Introducing from the nature and spirit of Japan, the House of Suntory Yamazaki Peated Malt Spanish Oak. This single malt Japanese whisky is from the Kogei Collection of the Limited Japanese Kimono Edition. “Kogei” translates to “traditional Japanese craftsmanship” and this is distilled in the oldest distillery in Japan at 43% ABV. 

Tasting notes from distillery: 

NOSE: Smoky notes, dark mocha, almonds and raisins

PALATE: Rich, floral flavours of bitter orange marmalade and dark chocolate

FINISH: Long finish with carmelised baking spices
